Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, Pleasant Valley has a next step of growth for you. Spiritual maturity doesn’t just happen — it is a result of the intentional pursuit of Jesus.
In order to partner with you on your journey with Christ, PV has provided a NEXT STEPS Spiritual Growth Guide. Your first step is to determine what description best fits where you are in your relationship with Jesus, and then to follow the suggested steps for that phase. Our goal is that as you participate in each phase, your spiritual growth will require you to take a “next step.”

Seeker
I’m interested in learning more about God and have questions about what it means to have an authentic relationship with Jesus.
Believer
I have committed to follow Jesus as my Lord of my life, and have followed Him in baptism. I faithfully attend weekly worship services at PV, and I’m now ready to grow in my understanding of the Bible and explore God’s purpose for me.
Follower
I have made the commitment to membership at PV, and am actively following Jesus in my daily life. I am ready to commit to a small group community and serve regularly in order to grow in the abundant life God intends for me.
Discipler
I am a committed member of PV, Community Group participant and ministry servant. I am ready to share my journey by guiding others in their faith as a ministry leader and getting involved in global outreach.
