Encounter is a rigorous, immersive, and biblically focused 12-week group environment, providing special attention to the various genres in the Bible and why they are important to understand, while tackling questions such as: Why study the Bible? Do Christians need to read the Old Testament? What happened between the Old and New Testaments? and more. Participants will walk away with the tools for studying the arc of Scripture for themselves, while growing spiritually and building deep relationships in a fresh and challenging experience.
Encounter equips the believer to have a deeper knowledge of the bible by teaching individuals to read and understand the larger story of scripture. Students will walk away from this experience with the tools to be able to know and apply the wisdom of scripture as they find where they fit in the bigger story of the bible.
Encounter features discussions with teachers, panels, live Q&A sessions, talks with pastors and theologians, guided discussions, and guided spiritual formation activities.

WHO IS ENCOUNTER FOR?
All adults are invited. Plus, students 8th grade and up with their parents up are encouraged to come.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR ENCOUNTER ?
Encounter costs $50 per person, which includes all sessions, your workbook, a CSB Study Bible all other materials, and all experiences. Need-based scholarships are available upon request.
DO I NEED MY OWN STUDY GUIDE OR CAN I SHARE WITH SOMEONE ELSE ?
Because listening and journaling is a big part of the experience, it is essential that you do your own reading, praying, and writing. Having your own guide on this adventure will be essential. Have your own study guide, invest your time, and see what God might do to surprise you!
WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND ALL 12 WEEKS ?
We are also offering an online option! Each week will be recorded and archived. If you miss a week, reach out to an Encounter leader and they will help you with finding content. Encounter is a significant commitment of time and energy, but we know that the transformation you will experience will be worth it!
