We exist to provide a safe place for individuals to process through the challenges of life as they experience. As a church, we want to walk alongside you through whatever season you find yourself in. Whether you’re grieving, navigating change, seeking freedom from addiction, or need a listening ear, we want you to know that you are not alone.
Resilience God Style
True resilience requires more than just running faster, jumping higher or exhibiting mere human strength. The ability to prepare for, encounter and bounce back from the realities of life possesses a spiritual component, a God-empowered ability to dig deep and overcome beyond all human measure.
Next Session Starting Fall 2021
You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. This group is intended for those who are grieving the death of a family member or friend.
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
Women of Hope
Dealing with a cancer diagnosis can be a scary thing. You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Women of Hope is a breast cancer survivor and support group designed to provide encouragement and community during and after you face this illness. Women of Hope, signifies that as women we share: Our Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Hope is a cure in our lifetime for our daughters, mothers, and friends. Our Hope in the encouragement and support of fellow sisters and survivors. WOH Mission: “ To light the way for those whose journey has just begun through completion of treatment and beyond”.
The group meets on the second Saturday morning of each month at 10am
As an extension of our care ministry, we have a cars ministry to help with car repairs and oil changes for those who find themselves in difficult circumstances. One of our ministry partners can help walk you through the process to identify if you are a candidate for this ministry.
Building Self Care
Now more than ever, many of us are feeling isolated and alone. Building Self Care is a group for those who have a desire to learn coping skills in life that will bring emotional hope and healing. It is not a community group or therapy, rather it should be used as an additional resource to group life and/or counseling.
You do not have to go through a difficult time in life alone. Stephen Ministers are people like you – who have walked through brokenness and hardships and have experienced the healing grace and compassionate love of Jesus and want to help others in need (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Stephen Ministers have been formally trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as loneliness, anxiety, grief, divorce, job loss, illness, or other life events.
As a church, we want to walk alongside you through whatever season you find yourself in. Whether you’re grieving, navigating change, seeking freedom from addiction or need a listening ear, we want you to know that you are not alone.
